Summation

Good evening! Today I want to tell you what I have learnt form the course “Multimedia in teaching-learning process”.
First of all I have learnt what is multimedia and why is it important to use multimedia  and technology in language classroom. I have also learnt what is delicious.com and how to save links on this website. Besides I’ve recieved information about online questionaries and have done them.
Webuest  was also very interesting topic and I think this website helps students and teachers to make projects,this site simplify their work,otherwise,with the use of “webuest” the prject is full of illustrations and it is more exciting,interesting and entertaining.
As we know assessment is the essential part of learning-teaching process. And within this course I have learnt how to use the website “rubistat 4 teachers” and make free online assessment rubrics.
As for PPT presentation,I have understood the importance of such kind of presentation in teaching as well as learning process. Making PTT presentation developes abilities such as: the ability of presentation, the ability of choosing suitable information and making this information interesting with the use of various photo,video and audio materials etc.

At the end I want to add that I have learnt how to make online tests and quizes which are also very important in teaching learning process.

    Hi Tamta,

    Thank you for summing up what you learned during the past semester.
    But your task here is to post weekly your reflections, feelings, attitudes to what you learn now, and the course is focused on using multimedia in English Language Teaching.

რა არის მულტიმედია საშუალებები?

I have also recieved information about the sites such as Blabberize, Voki and Voice Thread. With the use of Blabberize you can upload the photo and make it's mouth to move in a funny way and you can also make the picture to talk with your voice. This is funny and allow students to improve their speaking skill and also help modest students to use this tool to express their opinions,because they feel more comfortable when  instead of them the picture is talking with their voice. Voki  avatars are educational tool adopted by millions of teachers across the world that allows users to create their own talking characters.It is a great teaching tool for communication students in education field. Students,who are shy,are free to present their ideas by using an avatar.
